Dr. Terrence Autry lives with passion for serving God and His people. He serves as the Lead Pastor of Christ Community in Richardson TX. In April of 1998, the Lord led him to start the church in his home, with the first public service being held in January of 1999. He serves as President of Let’s Elevate, Inc., a non-profit dedicated to supplying college scholarships and inspiring career opportunities for Dallas area youth and adults. He also serves as a board member for the Men’s Advocacy Group of New Friends New Life, an organization dedicated to transitioning sexually trafficked and exploited women and children into mainstream society. Dr. Autry also serves as a Micah Group facilitator for local Pastors through the Lloyd John Ogilvie Institute of Preaching, an outreach arm of Fuller Theological Seminary. Recently, he has partnered with Dallas Leadership Foundation’s Youth Division to work with young African-American boys in Richardson high schools.
Dr. Autry is a graduate of Dallas Theological Seminary with a Th.M. degree. He also is a graduate of Fuller Theological Seminary with a Doctor of Ministry degree (D.Min.). Dr. Autry also has an M.B.A. degree from California State University, Dominguez Hills, and an undergraduate degree in Business Administration from the University of Alabama. In 2016, Dr. Autry completed his first book, The Flourishing Marriage.
Dr. Autry was born and raised in Los Angeles, CA. He has been married to his best friend in life, Lisa, for over 27 years. They have two young adult sons. Most importantly, he is a man of faith who loves the Lord and people.
